Types of Waterproofing Treatment

APP Membrane

APP Membrane APP (Atactic Polypropylene) Membrane waterproofing refers to a type of waterproofing system using APP-modified bitumen membranes. These membranes are made from a blend of bitumen and APP, a type of synthetic polymer that enhances the bitumen's properties. APP waterproofing membranes are applied to surfaces like roofs or foundations and offer excellent resistance to UV rays, temperature extremes, and aging. They provide a durable, flexible, and effective barrier against water ingress.

Area of Application:-
Basements, Non-accessible Roofs, Bridges and Underpass

Acrylic

Acrylic waterproofing refers to the use of acrylic-based coatings or sealants designed to prevent water from penetrating surfaces. These coatings are typically applied to roofs, walls, and other structures to create a protective barrier against water damage. Acrylic waterproofing products are known for their flexibility, durability, and ease of application, as well as their resistance to UV rays and temperature fluctuations.

Area of Application:-
Rooftops, Walls, Metal and Cement Profile Sheets

Two-Component Cementitious Flexible

Two-component cementitious flexible waterproofing refers to a type of waterproofing system that uses a combination of two separate components: a cement-based powder and a liquid additive. When mixed together, these components form a flexible, waterproof membrane that can be applied to surfaces to prevent water infiltration. The flexibility allows the membrane to accommodate minor movements or cracks in the substrate without compromising its waterproofing effectiveness. This type of waterproofing is commonly used in construction for protecting surfaces like walls, floors, and foundations from moisture damage

Area of Application:-
Bathrooms, Wet Areas, Rooftops, Walls, Balcony, Chajja

Polyurethane

PU (polyurethane) waterproofing involves using polyurethane-based coatings or membranes to create a waterproof barrier. These materials are applied to surfaces such as roofs, foundations, or terraces to prevent water ingress. PU waterproofing is valued for its durability, flexibility, and adhesion to various substrates. It can effectively accommodate structural movements and resist environmental stresses, making it suitable for both residential and industrial applications.

Area of Application:-
Podium, Walls, Metal Structures, Dry wall, Non load bearing slabs, Roof
